Whether you manage freight moving via truckload, LTL, rail, ocean or air, you'll find value in belonging to NASSTRAC. Otherwise known as the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council, NASSTRAC has been providing education, advocacy, and provider relations opportunities since 1952.
Transportation. It's what we're all about.
Our primary members are supply chain and transportation executives with manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, or 3PLs. NASSTRAC's members are responsible for moving their company's freight efficiently and cost-effectively through the supply chain. Providers of transportation-related services also are Associate Members.
Shippers are always looking for transportation solutions, best practices, information, and ways to expand their industry connections. As a member, you'll find primary value in three ways:
Education. Through our annual conference, regional meetings, and online events throughout the year, you'll remain productive, improve your skills, and increase your knowledge of transportation trends and challenges.
Advocacy. NASSTRAC is a leader in opposing unwise or excessively burdensome regulation that will negatively impact your transportation or supply chain operations. As a member of NASSTRAC, you'll collectively communicate shipper concerns with greater impact and at a lower cost than if each shipper member acted alone.
Provider Relations. In a marketplace tight on capacity, you'll build effective and long-term business relationships with carriers of all modes (truckload, LTL, rail, ocean or air).
NASSTRAC serves freight decision-makers who are mid- to upper-level management, from manager or director of transportation to VP of logistics or supply chain management. Many industries are represented, including retail, manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, and chemical.
