- As a carrier, you'll build relationships with beneficial owners of freight (manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors) and third-party logistics companies. In fact, our "Regular members" are key transportation or supply chain management executives, many of whom manage freight moves by all modes of transportation.
- You'll stay educated on key industry trends, challenges and opportunities through various educational forums, ranging from the NASSTRAC Shippers Conference & Transportation Expo to regional events and webcasts. This ultimately allows you to bring knowledge to your customers and to make decisions based on solid market intelligence for your own company.
- You'll build strategic partnerships with other carriers of all service modes (truckload, LTL, intermodal/rail, air, ocean and expedited). These opportunities for dialogue with providers take place at the Transportation Expo, at other NASSTRAC-sponsored events throughout the year, and via connections made through the Freight Resource Directory.
- Through NASSTRAC's advocacy initiatives, you'll communicate transportation concerns with greater impact and at a lower cost than if each shipper member acted alone. Through NASSTRAC, you'll also stay on top of the key issues in such areas as security, global trade, and workforce and operations requirements.
