    "WIRED FOR SUCCESS"

    "Wired for Success" is scheduled to be an informative time with focus on trends in areas such as E-Commerce, Global Distribution and Third Party Logistics (3PL). There is also a session entitled "Back to Basics" being presented about a variety of topics, including contracts, the request for proposal process and hazardous materials. In addition, the meeting will include a review of legislative issues affecting both providers and shippers.

Spring 2000
Monday, April 24 - Thursday, April 27, 2000

    NASSTRAC held its Spring Meeting on April 24 - 27, 2000 at The Registry Resort in Naples, FL. The event started with a cocktail reception on Monday, April 24 at 6 p.m. and concluded at 12 noon on Thursday, April 27.

    In addition to a variety of educational programs on current industry topics, this session featured a Round Table with CEO's of major transportation providers and a Financial Review of the industry.

    The Transportation Marketplace, the trade show component of the event, opened on Monday, April 24 at 6 p.m. Exhibits opened at various times on Tuesday, April 25, 2000. Last year's exhibitors included both national and regional LTL motor carriers as well a providers of other services to shippers.
